A message on Second Amendment - video
There’s a lot of
confusion about gun control today. Why the confusion? The 2nd
Amendment is not written in Latin and it’s not an inkblot test. It
simply put the Federal government on notice that the Federal
government has no right to interfere with a citizen’s right to “keep
and bear arms.”
In the first
textbook on the Constitution ever used at West Point Military
Academy, William Rawle has this to say about gun control, “No clause
in the Constitution could by any rule of construction be conceived
to give to Congress a power to disarm the people.” Rawle goes on to
note that many European governments claim to regulate gun ownership
in order to protect wild game and citizen safety but in reality they
are only seeking to control it’s citizens.
With real State’s
Rights, we the people of the sovereign states can force the Federal
government to abide by the Constitution including the 2nd
Amendment.
